Wow, het is opmerkelijk hoe je soms je weblog kunt vergeten, maar je hebt tegenwoordig ook zoveel van die internet crap die je moet bijhouden, hyves/twitter/blog/msn/poker/fora. Anyway, werd weer tijd voor een update dus. Er is niet veel gebeurd, ik had last van een kleine downswing in cashgames, waar ik nu weer langzaam aan overheen probeer te komen, en het lijkt alsof ik deze week weer in de buurt ga komen. Als het een beetje meezit, dan kan ik volgende week zeggen dat ik nog nooit zoveel geld online heb gehad. Dus dat ziet er goed uit. Verder gaan de toernooien niet echt heel lekker.
Wel grappig was een 0.10 cent Pot limit omaha toernooitje, waar ik alles potte 3betpotte en uiteindelijk met no pair no draw, om stacks aan het spelen was. Dit resulteerde in domination, en iedereen die met mij een hand in ging speelde voor zijn stack, wat resulteerde in 5 x avg chips, Ik hitte alles gewoon, maar toen kreeg ik vlak voor de finale tafel een coldstreak en bleven mijn double suited azen niet staan, als ook de rundown handen. swingy spelletje dat omaha. Uiteindelijk werd ik 8e goed voor een whopping 0,80 cent.
Voor de rest lopen de toernooien dus niet echt, en ben ik me wat meer aan het concentreren op lage heads up sng's, wat ook niet onverdienstelijk is. Dat samen met de cashgames is op dit moment het enige waar ik een beetje in run. En toch wil ik heel graag dat de toernooien ook weer gaan lopen, want een keer 6e in een 180 man sng, is gewoon niet voldoende om me een goed gevoel te geven over mijn spel. Ik voel dat ik gewoon een edge op dat veld heb, maar op een of andere manier lukt het niet om echt noten te kraken in die dingen. Maargoed, ik zal er weer eens een weekje in gaan steken aangezien ik deze week nog vrij ben.
Er is trouwens ook nog goed nieuws te melden over mijn werk situatie, ik mag dus weer terug komen bij het bedrijf waar ik het ander half jaar zo naar mijn zin heb gehad. Na maanden solliciteren en smeken en konten kussen van mensen die ik helemaal niet ken, kan ik dus weer gewoon naar mijn oude stekje. Daar heb ik ook uitzicht op een vaste baan. In july begin ik.
